We believe that invitations literally breathe LIFE into the party.  It’s the preview of what’s to come.  Sure, it’s easy to send a quick text message to your guests, or an emailed version of an invitation inviting your guests to your event.  In our opinion, that is not the way to start such a fabulous celebration.  Invitations are much more important than people tend to believe.  Why not set the tone with a snazzy theme for your professional/corporate events or private/social celebrations.

Our invitations and event stationery are completely custom (that's our specialty).  We pride ourselves on this very unique process.  Please see below more details on how we work.  

*Due to the custom nature of our process, we do not provide quotes or sample proofs without a consultation and details discussed below. Each project contains varying details and we want to provide pricing with the proper details.  Thank you for your understanding.

We want to know all about you and your sense of style.  This is when the questions begin.  We will want to know about timelines and  a general idea of your preferred price range. If you have ideas or inspiration we would love to see those as well.

COLLABORATION

Working together is important to ensure that we create invitations and stationery that you will absolutely love.  Scheduling a consultation, either in person or by phone will inspire our team to brainstorm and begin the creative process.

THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING

Our team will produce a proof for approval/feedback along with ideas utilizing the information provided during the consultation.

APPROVAL PROCESS

After proofs and feedback are received we will start the production process.  Please allow the stated time to receive your final product.  We are not accepting rush projects at this time.  Standard turn around times vary based on project details.

At Prim & Proper Ink, it is always our goal to make sure you enjoy every step of our creative process.  Consultations always begin with assessing your vision and personal style. We look forward to your scheduled consultation. 

EVENT STATIONERY

  • What's the first step?
    Due to the custom nature of signage, we will provide a quote based on the materials you would like and the dimensions and intricacy of the cut. Please complete the questionnaire below.
  • Why is the shipping price not included within the quote?
    Due to the custom nature of our signage products shipping charges are based on weight, packaging and location. We do not allow clients to pick up signage from our warehouse nor will be meet clients with products. We will do our best to include or give an estimate of what the shipping charges may be once full details are disclosed.
  • How long will it take?
    Normal production time can take anywhere from 7-21 days from the date of approved artwork submission. We ask that you base your timeline on the date you would like your signage in hand. We are not a rush order shop and are not accepting rush orders at this time. It is our goal to complete projects in a timely manner and may not take the entire 21 days, however we ask that you allow us this time to ensure you receive a quality product.
  • Design Set Up Fees vs. Design Fees
    Prim & Proper Ink charges $75 as a design set up fee. This fee includes rendering the graphic submitted to our team to coincide with our print practices. A proof will be sent for approval prior to print. This fee will apply if you already have a logo that you would like printed as a sign. If you do not have a logo already completed or if you have an undeveloped concept, a design fee will be required. The reason why is due to the longterm usage, and a brand creation/development is necessary. Our brand creation/logo concept fee starts at $350.00. The set up fee will be waived if you are purchasing signage along with your logo design.
  • Payment Options
    All payments are required in full prior to project start date. This means, we will not start on your project until the art fee, along with the cost for the sign and shipping cost are paid.
  • Artwork Requirements
    Prim & Proper Ink requires that all logos not created by our design team should be submitted in a vector format. File types that are acceptable include the following: .pdf (editable with all layers attached) .eps .ai (with all fonts outlined and images included) If .jpg, .png or Photoshop files are submitted, we will not and can not guarantee your brands authenticity. We will attempt to get as close to the original logo as possible but will not guarantee resolution or final print. A design fee will be assessed to all artwork submitted with no exceptions. Our designers will notify you if your artwork needs to be sumbitted. Please sumbit all artwork to designteam@primandproperink.
